Kate is a both a children’s author and freelance editor with a growing list of successful clients. Originally from the UK, she now lives on the Gold Coast in Australia with her family. She reads everything from middle grade fiction to adult thrillers, but tends to lean toward stories with a dark edge.
Emma Wicker: Creative Director & Rockstar
Emma is the author of award-winning Fractured Immortal, and Finding Immortal. Her obsession is New Adult, and Adult Contemporary Romance. When Emma is not writing or looking after her busy household, she’s either reading or stalking her favourite authors as well as studying for her Masters in Psychology.
Rebecca Carpenter: Editor and Sweet Scoffer
As a childcare owner and early childhood teacher, Rebecca is an avid reader of children’s books during the day and loves a good mystery or romance at night. She belongs to Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers and Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Rebecca has been writing her whole life but started getting serious about it five years ago. After joining several critique groups, she realized she loves editing as much as writing.
In 2012, Rebecca self-published a memoir about her teen pregnancy. She writes picture books, middle grade, young adult, and dabbles in screenplay writing. Why not?
Rebecca is married with two grown children and four amazing grandkids. Rebecca and her husband reside in western Colorado with their miniature pinscher, Pinny, and love exploring the beautiful mountains that surround their town.
Senseless fact: She has a serious sweet-tooth, especially when it comes to donuts, cakes, cookies, and pies—oh my!
Diana Pinguicha: Artist & Dragon Rider
Born and bred in the sunny country of Portugal, Diana is a Computer Engineer graduate currently studying to finish her Master’s Degree while working in the field of serious games. She reads and writes SFF, and loves video games. Keeping her company are her two kitties, Sushi and Jubas, and the fearsome bearded dragon Norbert.
SC Alban: Editorial Assistant and Book Ninja
Samantha Alban is a writer and elementary school teacher. She is the author of The Strega Series and cannot get her hands on enough YA and paranormal romance. She is interested in all things curious, odd, and unusual. When she’s not daydreaming, she enjoys listening to music, watching artsy films, and spending time in her fairy garden. She resides in Sonoma County with her family, three aloof cats, and three terribly lazy dogs.
